On the way, we will stop at Tel Beersheba, where we will begin the first part of our study tour – “The Desert Experience”. We are going to consider the desert and its important biblical role in the life of the believer. We will arrive at Eilat late, and the reminder of the day will be dedicated for free time of relaxation and recouping from jet lag.
In the evening you will experience an Erev Shabbat Meal with local believers! It will be one of the highlights of your stay in Israel.
Day Three (Nov. 20, Shabbat) – A Day Off!

Those who wish may take this time to scuba dive on their own (Optional). After lunch, we will visit a ‘one to one’ scale model of the Tabernacle in the wilderness where we will learn how God’s dwelling among His chosen people in the wilderness is a wonderful picture of His present dwelling in us! At the day's end, we will camp in a Bedouin Tent overlooking the Rift Valley toward the mountains of Jordan and enjoy wonderful Bedouin hospitality! An experience, indeed!!!
Day Five (Nov. 22, Monday)
Camel Ride Excursion, Bedouin Cookout, Head to the Dead Sea

Here we will learn of one of the Jewish sects existing in Yeshua’s time – The Zealots! Our next adventure will include a beautiful hike into the Ein Gedi Oasis overlooking the Dead Sea, where we will become more intimately acquainted with the only man Scriptures describe as “a man after God’s own heart” – David. We will then drive northward to the Sea of Galilee where we will spend our next 5 nights!
